OCEA looks forward to welcoming each of you to the great state of Ohio in 2006. As the home state of cooperative education, our members are hard at work getting the welcome mat out for your arrival at the centennial celebration. We do look forward to your arrival.

Our state is also hard at work through partnerships with (i)Cleveland and other Ohio employers to help spread the message of cooperative education. OCEA partnered with (i)Cleveland tohost an employer drive-in workshop that provided an highly interactive event that focused on "best practices" for co-ops and internships. OCEA also hosted an employer luncheon in the greater Cincinnati area that help to exchange ideas on how best the organization could serve the needs of employers. Both the forums focused on giving employers and educators the opportunity to exchange ideas not only about expanding co-op opportunities but also expanding our reach as an organization to employers.
